Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year! 

Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind. 

Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present. 

Want to work off some of the turkey or treats; or just spend some time outdoors with other biking families? Join us as we take an evening ride along the Red House Bike Path. Meet at Camp Allegany at 6:15 pm with the ride starting at 6:30 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet.  You do not have to have a fat bike for this ride, but you will need a headlamp or a bike light. Please, no balance bikes, or bikes with training wheels.

The Olean Theatre Workshop presents, "I Never Saw a Butterfly", a moving theatrical production that honors the memories of children who perished in the Terezin concentration camp in WWII. Based on their poems and drawings, the play showcases their hope, creativity, and humanity amidst unimaginable suffering, serving as a powerful tribute to their legacy.

HO! HO! HO! The holidays are right around the corner, and there's no better way to get into the spirit than by spending a fun-filled day at Allegany State Park for a Saturday with Santa on Saturday December 6th from 11:00am - 3:00pm. 

Join the Environmental Education Department for a festive family event featuring crafts, games, photos with Santa, and plenty of holiday cheer. 

First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Ready to Roll? Grab your fat bike and join in for a series of Friday night fun rides this winter at Allegany State Park! These casual group rides are the perfect way to get outside, meet other riders, and enjoy the parks beautiful winter trails under the stars!

Learn about the Butterflies of Allegany State Park. Park Educator and butterfly enthusiast Tom LeBlanc will guide you through the butterflies that are found here and the research on the butterflies of the park. The presentation will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Camp Allegany Classroom.
