April calls for spring cleaning, and the Allegany State Park Historical Society invites the community to help get the Quaker Museum and St. John’s Chapel ready for the season on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 1:00pm!

Lend a hand with some dusting, vacuuming, and light cleaning to freshen up these two historic gems. The cleanup will last approximately 90 minutes. Cleaning supplies like shop vacs, rags, and dusting tools are welcome, though some will be provided on-site.

Join in for the HoliTrot Fall Festival Trail Run!

Join Ellicottville Distillery on Saturday, May 3rd as they celebrate the Kentucky Derby! They'll be open at 12pm. View the Kentucky Derby live in their tasting room, featuring their own "KenDucky Derby" in their local creek, and live music with The Hick Ups from 3pm-6pm!

The Rusty Rooster: Christmas Barn Show

Get a head start on your holiday shopping and support local business at The Rusty Rooster's Christmas Barn Show on Saturday, December 6th and 13th from 10am - 2:00pm at 8879 Dake Hill Rd Cattaraugus. Find unique, handcrafted gifts for everyone on your list. 

What you'll find: 

Join in for a one day craft show to get into the Christmas Spirit! There will be over 25 different vendors to shop from, where you can find a little bit of everything. It is always a great time to attend a craft and vendor show!

This event is free to the public. You will find a variety of items to shop from! Candles, tumblers, keychains, plants, soaps, baked goods, 3d printed items, crochet and knitted items, and so much more!

There will be over Vendors, Chinese Auction, and food for sale.

Kick off the summer on June 21st, 2025 when all of Main Street in Little Valley will be closed for the inaugural Little Valley Community Day! Over 30 vendors will fill the street along with food trucks, family activities, children's games, live music, bounce houses and more! The event will run from 1pm until 9pm. This is a rain or shine event.

Kicking off at 11am with a vendor show, a segmented group workout with Warrior Fitness trainers, Food Trucks, DJ, dunk tank, a kids carnival and lawn game tournaments!

Kick off the warmer weather with a community wellness event created with everyone in mind!

Celebrate New York State's Path through History Weekend with a presentation about the Holland Land Company at the Leon Historical Society on June 15th at 11am. Barker Museum's Archivist, Catherine Oag-Miller will lead the presentation. She has extensive knowledge of people and happenings of the local areas and is known for giving an engaging presentation. For those of you who may have Holland Land Co. on your Deed, bring a notebook and enjoy hearing Ms. Oag-Miller at the 1836 Church in Leon, NY. Light refreshments will be served. 

Stop by Ellicottville Brew Co. in Little Valley on Sunday, February 2nd, from 11 AM to 2 PM, for a morning filled with joy, mimosas, and creativity! Enjoy a mouth-watering brunch buffet, design your own floral arrangement with guidance from Swan St. Florist, and listen to live music by The Son Duo. Browse unique gifts and products from local vendors and enjoy specialty drinks at our cash bar. It's the perfect way to spend a delightful Sunday morning!
