Discover the history of Allegany State Park- January 1, 2026. This year’s First Day Hike is an easy trek featuring historical and environmental tidbits of information about the features found in this area of the park. Your hike will take you along the Quaker Multiuse trail that conveniently has an entrance at Camp Turner.

At 11:30 a.m. join park educators for a guided hike at Science Lake and learn the history and interesting historical figures of the park. The Historical Society will have the Quaker Museum open from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Get ready for a night of unforgettable music and dance as the legendary Dwight Yoakam and special guests The Mavericks take the stage at the Seneca Allegany Event Center on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 7 p.m.! 

The Challenger Learning Center will be hosting Trivia Night on March 8th, 2025! Doors open at 6:00pm, Trivia starts at 6:30pm! 

Come enjoy a night of "out of this world" trivia, Raffles, and a cash bar with 4 Mile Brewing!

Sip, Snack and splatter some joy at the "Gogh" to the Pumpkin Patch Paint Party in Little Valley, NY.

Join an easy going paint party where no talent is required but you are more than welcome to get creative. You will be guided step by step so you can relax, unwind and enjoy the evening. The paint party is scheduled for August 22nd from 6-8pm and is $42 per painter. There are limited spots so sign up soon.

All supplies are included. Bring a drink and some snacks if you would like, though light refreshments will be provided. This event is intended for ages 13 and up.

Join the fun at Hunter Hill Farm on November 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM for a festive Christmas Tree Pottery Class with Tara from TShed Pottery!

TShed Pottery, run by Tara, is renowned for its unique and handcrafted pottery pieces. Celebrated for her creativity and quality, Tara’s classes are both educational and enjoyable. The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!

Lincoln Park will be transformed into a holiday haven as the Jingle Bell Jubilee returns on December 13 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., bringing the magic of a European-style holiday market to the heart of Downtown Olean.
