New York's State Parks and Historic Sites celebrates our Centennial in 2024, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of our parks and sites system. Help us kick off this yearlong celebration and get your New Year off to a great start with a hike in Allegany State Park along the newly finished Quaker Run Area Multi-Use Trail.
Celebrate the season with a country superstar! Having five number 1 singles to her name, including “Suds In A Bucket” and “Born To Fly,” this Country Music Award winning artist has recently been invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Join Ellicottville Distillery as they celebrate the last day of 2023 with their annual "Liquor Mile" at on Sunday December 31st!
Distillery opens and registration for runners starts at 11am. Run starts at 12pm. It is $25 a runner to enter the 5k followed by the Liquor Mile which is $15. $35 fee if you are planning on doing both the 5K & Liquor Mile.
All proceeds will be donated to Oishei Children’s hospital.
After every quarter of a mile you get a miniature cocktail! 1 mile run + 4 drinks!
The Jingle Bell Jubilee is a holiday event featuring many activities and events: the holiday market, carolers, dance groups, wreath creation class, Shop Raffle Drawing, Sips of the Season, make and take craft, horse and wagon rides; an inflated snow globe for picture opps, cocoa and cookie crawl, decorate the tree contest, cookie decorating, and even a Rudolph run! Hours for the event are 4:30-8pm.
Ring in the New Year with the Holiday Valley Groomer parade and spectacular fireworks. Family friendly party in the main Lodge. Approximate times: Groomer Parade on Cindy's Run at 11:15, torchlight parade at 11:30 then the fireworks show at 11:45, ending at midnight.
