It's Christmas In Allegany Santa House season!

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at their house in Allegany.

Want to work off some of the turkey or treats; or just spend some time outdoors with other biking families? Join us as we take an evening ride along the Red House Bike Path. Meet at Camp Allegany at 6:15 pm with the ride starting at 6:30 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet.  You do not have to have a fat bike for this ride, but you will need a headlamp or a bike light. Please, no balance bikes, or bikes with training wheels.

The following dates you can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at their house in Allegany:

December 4th: 5:30pm - 7:30pm

December 6th: 1:00pm - 3:00 pm

December 11th: 5:30pm - 7:30pm

December 13th: 12:00pm - 2:00pm

The 2026 carnival will be a 4-day event. Enjoy rides, food, and entertainment!

Celebrate the season with a country superstar! Having five number 1 singles to her name, including “Suds In A Bucket” and “Born To Fly,” this Country Music Award winning artist has recently been invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Enjoy all the well-known hits along with Christmas favorites like “Run Rudolph Run” as Sara Evans brings the spirit of the holidays to the Seneca Allegany Event center for one magical night!

Join Allegany on September 21st, from 1pm - 3pm!! They will be celebrating with a grand opening party with a ribbon cutting! There will be 50/50s from local sponsors, vendors, live music from Animals in a Cage, and food trucks! They are going to try to have a best trick jam with giveaways!

Join Allegany State Park for a special evening with guest presenter Michelle Miller, Mohawk-Turtle, at Camp Allegany on November 15th, starting at 5:30pm. Experience the tradition of cooking over the coals, a practice the Seneca have embraced for centuries. Enjoy delicious food, captivating stories, and a walk under the Beaver Full Moon, all while celebrating Indigenous identity and culture.

Beat the winter blues and join us for a winter filled with fun indoor and outdoor activities. Allegany State Park and the Pat McGee Trail will be bustling with activities provided by the Allegany Region Environmental Educators. 

Pat McGee Trail nature walk begins at 1:00 p.m. at the New Albion Road parking area of the trail.

Get ready for a night of unforgettable music and dance as the legendary Dwight Yoakam and special guests The Mavericks take the stage at the Seneca Allegany Event Center on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 7 p.m.! 

Learn about the Butterflies of Allegany State Park. Park Educator and butterfly enthusiast Tom LeBlanc will guide you through the butterflies that are found here and the research on the butterflies of the park. The presentation will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Camp Allegany Classroom.

There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!
