Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean.

Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 7th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

The Gowanda Historic Hollywood Theater presents the performance of the WNY Fiddle Kids, led by former NYS Fiddle Champion, Heather Smith Pennington on Saturday, July 25th at 2pm.

Beaver Pond Hike- Meet at 1:00 p.m. at Camp Allegany and hike to the Bova beaver ponds and learn more about these industrious creatures.

Showtime is Friday, October 17th, 2025 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens and SBU staff & faculty, and $5 for students.

Join the Olean Historical Society for the 2026 Speaker series, with a presentation by Gail Feuchter. She will be speaking on the history of the Fannie Bartlett House at 6:30pm on June 15th.

The event will be held outside, so bring your lawn char and meet on the museum's side lawn. If it rains, the event will be held indoors. 

The event will be held at 302 Laurens Street in Olean, NY.

In honor of the theaters Centennial, composer, Nathan Hall returns to his home town for an immersive musical walking tour through the hidden corners of the theater, including a look behind-the-scenes. 

The production of Echoes of the Hollywood feature not only, Nathan Hall but also performances by soprano Kimberly Merrill, saxophonist Jacob Swanson, and the talented student musicians from Gowanda High School!
