Free Fishing Day in NY!
The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!

This is sure to be a funny tale of love, honor, and duty. Directed by Jake Riggs with a special arrangement by Concord Theatrics.

Step Right Up at the Cattaraugus County Fair
Cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, the first week in August.

Cattaraugus Creek offers over 34 miles of steelhead angling opportunities from Lake Erie to the Springville Dam. A portion of the stream and its lower tributaries are on Seneca Nation of Indian Lands, so if you plan to fish there, you will need a license for the Reservation.
