Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year! 

Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind. 

Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present. 

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!
