Ellicottville
Ellicottville was named in honor of Joseph Ellicott, an agent of the Holland Land Company, was formed from Ischua in 1820. A portion of Ashford and East Otto were taken in 1824, and 1858 respectively.

Opening Reception for "A Little Something"
An opening reception will be held this Saturday for the current Tri-County Arts Council member show, "A Little Something", perfectly sized for holiday gift giving. This opening will be featuring over 130 pieces featuring painting, pottery, jewelry and more from over 40 artists across the region including Wendy Bale, Rose Brawn, Lisa Conklin Conn, Karen Fitzpatrick, Barbara Fox, Theresa Heinz, Sean Huntington, Keith McKale, Peter Midgley, Nicole Missel, Eva Potter, Carolyn Raine, Melissa Stitzer, Tara Walker, Mikel Wintermantel, Jennifer Wolbert, and more.

Ready to Roll? Grab your fat bike and join in for a series of Friday night fun rides this winter at Allegany State Park! These casual group rides are the perfect way to get outside, meet other riders, and enjoy the parks beautiful winter trails under the stars!

Beaver Pond Hike with Allegany State Park
Beat the winter blues and join us for a winter filled with fun indoor and outdoor activities. Allegany State Park and the Pat McGee Trail will be bustling with activities provided by the Allegany Region Environmental Educators.
Beaver Pond Hike- Meet at 1:00 p.m. at Camp Allegany and hike to the Bova beaver ponds and learn more about these industrious creatures.

The Town of Conewango is located on the western boundary of the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County. The west town line is the border of Chautauqua County.
Movie in the Park
Come on down to Bicentennial Park in Little Valley to enjoy a FREE movie night on Thursday, June 27th hosted by Friends of Little Valley!
This event opens at 7:00pm, Movie (Wonka) starts at 7:30pm.
Bring your own seat and blanket to enjoy the movie! Refreshments, games, and more!
Jingle Bell Jubilee 2023
The Jingle Bell Jubilee is a holiday event featuring many activities and events: the holiday market, carolers, dance groups, wreath creation class, Shop Raffle Drawing, Sips of the Season, make and take craft, horse and wagon rides; an inflated snow globe for picture opps, cocoa and cookie crawl, decorate the tree contest, cookie decorating, and even a Rudolph run! Hours for the event are 4:30-8pm.
South Valley
Town of South Valley is located in the southwest of Cattaraugus County, New York State. Part of the Seneca Nation of Indians Allegany Territory, Allegany State Park and the Allegheny Reservoir are in the Town of South Valley. It is home to Onoville Marina Park, and Pine Hill State Forest.
Christmas Centerpiece Workshop w/ Swan Street Florist
Join Swan Street Florist at Ellicottville Brewing Co, 28 Monroe St. Ellicottville on Thursday, December 19th, for a festive Christmas Centerpiece Workshop! Embrace the holiday spirit by creating your very own beautiful centerpiece to decorate your table this season. The skilled instructors from Swan Street Florist will be there to guide you through the process, providing all the materials needed to make a stunning arrangement.
Wild Wing Festival
On August 25th The Wild Wing Festival will be held with music by the Rustic Ramblers and food from 12-4 pm. There will be guided tours of all the birds in the 6-acre aviary. You will have a guided tour of the birds and learn about the 78 different species.
Cost is $10/ adults per person and $5 for children under 12. Food will be served by Lil's Deli including Pizza, Chicken fingers, Fries, Cookies, etc.
Dining tents will be available in case of rain. Please bring your lawn chairs.
