We will take a walk down behind the Market to the AVP archaeological dig site and read a story on archaeology. The Allegheny Valley Project annual archeology dig is conducted by Olean native Dr. Steve Howard, who uses groups of volunteers to search for artifacts dated from as long ago as the Archaic Period, between 8,000 B.C.
