Portville Central School’s Arts, Crafts, and Antiques Show returns! This 2-day indoor event will be held in the High School and features art, crafts, antiques and food on Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Olean Theatre Workshop presents "The Humans". By Stephen Karam, the play is centered near Thanksgiving at the Blake family apartment in Manhattan. This one act play touches on current topics of illness, aging and financial issues. It received the Tony Award in 2016 for Best Play. Poignant and cutting, it is a play that many families can feel a kindred spirit.

The New Year of 2020 brings to the stage “The Matchmaker” by Thornton Wilder. The famous and beloved musical “Hello Dolly” was based on this play. It is about the matchmaker, Dolly Levi, who likes to arrange things. It will add some levity to the cold of winter.

The zaniest of all spring events, Pond Skimming on March 28th challenges skiers and snowboarders to try to skim across an ice water filled pond at the bottom of Yodeler. Some will make it all the way across, but many end up getting very wet (and cold!). Prizes are awarded for the best skimmer, the best costume, the best kid and of course the most spectacular splash.
