The Largest New York State Park is Allegany State Park which is the 3rd largest in the nation with 65,000 acres (97 square miles) and lots of trails. Allegany State Park has over 35 miles of Cross Country skiing trails, 18 hiking trails and 5.6 miles of paved multi-use trails (horseback riding, snowmobiling and more) around Red House Lake area. 3 campground areas with over 375 cabins.

Taste of the Southtowns is being held on Sunday May 2 from 11-5 PM inside the Springville Fire Hall, Rt. 39, Springville,NY. Over 40 different food items from 7 different restaurants including prime rib, scallops, ribs, shrimp, stuffed cabbage rolls, lasagna, crabcakes, souvlaki, buffalo chicken wing soup, lamb, cannoli, cream puff and many more food items. 50 Chinese Auction Baskets, Silent Auction, Free Admission, 3 Bands: Liz & Pete Boberg featuring Gene Hilts on Steel Guitar, Wagner & Winston, and Rt. 39 & Friends.
To benefit Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, the largest not-for-profit waterfowl sanctuary in the US that was destroyed by the flood on Aug.10, 2009.
