Skiing Cross Country

Holiday Valley has announced that they will be opening for the season on Tuesday, December 13 at 9 a.m.  and will operate through 10 p.m.  for day and night skiing.   Slopes include Mardi Gras, Yodeler and the Candy Cane loop and possibly School Haus West.   Lifts include Yodeler and Mardi Gras quads and possibly School Haus.

The Penguin Paddle is a fundraiser where participants slide down the slope on their belly "penguin style". 

You don't have to be a skier to have fun here!

So have fun, join in and pretend to be a penguin for the afternoon!

Parade, music, contests, food and lots of crazy, fun-loving folks! Saturday's Events include the Snow Ponies Race, the Cardboard Box race on School Haus and the Mardi Gras parade in the village of Ellicottville. Sunday's events include the costume parade down Mardi Gras and the infamous Dummy Downhill at the Yodler Lodge.

This event is the 1st ever for the proposed "Pop Warner Trail" which is 1.7 miles of railroad bed within Springvilles Village limits.

Springville is naming their section after "Pop Warner" who was from Springville and was considered the father of football.

Join in the fun as we ring in the New Year. Davey Z and the Renegades Band from 9-1, torchlight parade at 11:30 and fireworks at 11:45 with the Grand Finale at midnight.
