Native American Heritage Month 2018

Come celebrate the proud history and traditions of Native American people at Seneca Allegany Casino.   The Resort and Casino will be host to Seneca Market days, movie nights, dance exhibitions, as well as specials in the Thunder Mountain Buffet, The Western Door Steakhouse, and the Seneca Cafe. 

Don’t miss the Seneca Markets where you can get handmade wares!  There will be authentic native craft vendors select Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-8pm: November 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18. 

Additional Haudenosaunee Social Dance Demonstrations in the Seneca Allegany Hotel Lobby at 4:30pm and 7:30pm: November 3, 10, 17. 

There will be movie nights (with complimentary popcorn and beverage), along with a dance exhibition, in the meeting rooms of the Resort from 6pm-8pm: November 13, 20, and 27. 

Thunder Mountain Buffet will have daily Native American inspired dishes all month long, such as Chicken Stew and Biscuits, Sage-Rubbed Rotisserie Chicken, Wild Rice with Honey-Roasted Pumpkin and more!  The Seneca Cafe will have Fry Bread Tacos, Grilled Bison Burger, and Blueberry Cornbread Shortcake for select morning hours.  The Western Door Steakhouse will have Venison Osso Bucco and Maple-Glazed Roasted Salmon from 5pm-10pm from Fridays and Saturdays. 

The community dinner and social will be on Wednesday, November 7th from 5pm-8pm in the Seneca NIAGARA Events Center.  All are welcome to come and enjoy this FREE event that is open to the public.  The social will feature authentic Native American foods, Haudenosaunee social songs and dancing, craft vendors, and a chance auction. This event is alcohol-free and open to the public.
