Hinsdale Christmas in the Park 2018

Come out and see the Christmas Tree Displays in the Town of Hinsdale!  The Hinsdale Historical Society is sponsoring a Christmas Tree Display in the Town Park on Main St. in Hinsdale.

Area Community members, businesses, and organizations have decorated 6' trees and they will be on display.  Fifteen trees were donated by KG Reiss and Johnson's Tree Farm.  If you are a community member and would like a tree to decorate, call or text Ann Carr at 716-557-2643.  Note: Trees will be available Dec 1st and need to be decorated by Dec 8th.

At this party that welcomes all, there will be Santa, hot cocoa, cookies and caroling.  Music will be provided by Jolly Roger.  The Hinsdale Museum will also be open during this time.  And since Thursday, December 20 just happens to be one of the shortest days of the year, there will be a luminary kit for families to purchase at $10 (includes 10 luminaries) to light up in the Park as well.  The proceeds benefit the Genesis House and their mission to aid the homeless in our area.  Kits are available from Jan Bishop by calling 716-378-5098.

Take the family out to see the festive trees all lined up!  Photo shown is from last year's event.

Miner’s Cabin in Franklinville was built by a miner that returned home after making it good during the gold rush era of the west coast. The building is not a cabin either but a three story house of Queen Anne design.
