Country Gatherings at Granny's Boot Antiques

Hosted by Granny's Boot Antiques, home of the Grevpode Gallery, the first of the Country Gathering Festivals will take place Saturday, April 27th.  Stroll the outdoor artisan vendors that will be selling unique hand made products as well as a few market place vendors with produce and home made goods.  Then peruse the antiques, walk through the art maze, take a wagon ride (weather dependent), or enjoy a family activity.  This is family friendly (and pet on leash friendly), alcohol/smoke free event.

Most Residents are Amish in the Town of Leon

There are approximately 1,380 residents in Leon with the Amish Community comprising about 76% of that number. The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949. They do not believe in the modern conveniences. They have no electricity in their homes + travel by horse and buggy.

If you are looking for someplace interesting to go, try the Leon area. It is right in the heart of Amish Country.
