Celebrate the one year anniversary of the Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center opening on August 4th from 10am-5pm.

The entire event will truly be a cultural experience you will not want to miss complete with Iroquois Social Dancing, Native Food and Art Market, Traditional Sports Demonstrations, and a Time Capsule.

The latest exhibit will be unveiled!  "Indian Ink" which celebrates Iroquois and Seneca Indigenous Tattoos and the meaning behind them.  Done in conjunction with The Iroquois Indian Museum, there will also be a best Indigenous Tattoo Contest at the celebration from 2-3pm.  Anyone can enter to show off their ink to win gift certificates from "Iron Horse Mike Taylor". 

This event is open to the public.  Here is the full Schedule:
10am- Unveiling our new exhibit “Indian Ink”! (In conjunction with the Iroquois Indian Museum).
10am-5pm- Rich Hamell will be showing his wampum belt reproductions. 10am-5pm- Art and food vendors.
12pm- Time Capsule Ceremony.
1pm-2pm- Michael Galban will be dong a presentation on the history of Indigenous tattoos.
2pm-3pm- Best Indigenous Tattoo Contest. Come show off your ink for a chance to win gift certificates to get inked by “Iron Horse Mike Taylor”.
4pm-5pm- “The Iroquois Creation Story” will be performed by the Skywoman Iroquois Dance Theater in our outdoor amphitheater. Tickets can be purchased the day of for $5 each.
   (In partnership with Agwadeyёsta’ Do:gё:h – A 501 (c) 3 Non-profit that supports the
    revitalization of the Seneca language)
