Winter Blues in Ellicottville Singer

The  Village of Ellicottville heats up January 17-18 during Winter Blues Weekend.  Old Man Winter got you down? Ready to come out of hibernation to hear some great music? Ellicottville's many area venues and establishments will have some of the hottest blues musicians to help you climb out of that January funk.

Ellicottville’s hot spots  feature live, local, Blues acts both Friday and Saturday nights.  It’s a great way to keep warm on this cold winter weekend!  Here's the line-up so far:
Friday Jan 17th:
Hayden Fogle at Balloons - 7pm
The Haight Street Gamblers at Villagio - 8pm
The Jony James Blue Band at Villagio - 8pm

Saturday Jan 18th:
Tommy Z at Balloons - 6:30pm
AJ Tetzlaff at the Public House - 8pm
The All Star Blues Band at Villagio - 8pm

Most Residents are Amish in the Town of Leon

There are approximately 1,380 residents in Leon with the Amish Community comprising about 76% of that number. The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949. They do not believe in the modern conveniences. They have no electricity in their homes + travel by horse and buggy. 

If you are looking for someplace interesting to go, try the Leon area. It is right in the heart of Amish Country.
