Friends of Good Music presents Slavic Soul Party

The fifth performance of the 2019-2020 Concert Series, presented by Friend of Good Music and held at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, is sure to get you moving and up out of your seats.  Welcome Slavic Soul Party!

Combining unique brass band sounds with funky jazz grooves, this well-known American Balkan brass band is based in New York City. Slavic Soul Party are known as the official brass band for Balkan Soul Gypsy Funk in NYC. Their seven full-length albums feature a mix of funk, klezmer, New Orleans jazz, and Roma music. Many music fans flock to their weekly Tuesday night performances in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Memberships for Friends Of Good Music are available and include a basic subscription with reserved seats for any six programs. Season subscribers may individualize their plan by adding additional program tickets to their subscription at a greatly reduced price. All seats are reserved, though members may request specific seats with their subscription order on a first-come, first-served basis. A reception for all season subscribers will be held after the bonus concert in May.

Tickets can be purchased over the phone or at the box office, which is open one hour before performances and during intermission. All art galleries and the gift shop at the Quick Center are open on concert nights.  Season Subscriptions are available on the Friends of Good Music Website.
