Night Lights 2019 at Griffis Sculpture Park

For the eighth consecutive autumn, Griffis Sculpture Park will again be illuminated with colorful and theatrical lighting when “NIGHT LIGHTS at Griffis Sculpture Park” returns on September 9th, 2020.  NIGHT LIGHTS will be open for five weeks and welcomes guests to view the interaction between lights, nature and art.

Here are the details about NIGHT LIGHTS at Griffis Sculpture Park (Sept. 9th to Oct. 11th, Weds - Sat nights, and Sun. Oct. 11th). A few important things for 2020. Just like in the daytime, the park is safely open to visitors when we light up the park. There is plenty of space to social distance and move around. We do encourage people to wear masks and we will have other measures in place to ensure safety. We will be limiting the amount of visitors to 300 during NIGHT LIGHTS. Therefore, we are encouraging visitors to purchase their tickets online, on the night you want to attend. If there is a rain out, you can request a refund or switch the tickets for another night. You can purchase tickets through Eventbrite on the attached page. We will have a cash admission gate ($10 adults, $5 12-7 yrs old) open every night (unless sold out). We will be able to take cash or credit card only. We're really looking forward to seeing everyone. There is more info on our website too.

Trails will open from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 7:30pm to 10:00pm on the Fri-Saturday. The last night, Sunday Oct 11th, the trails will be open until 10:00 p.m.

Adults $10, Children 7 to 12 $5, kids 6 and under are free.  Please bring a flashlight and dress appropriately for the weather!  Night Lights can be cancelled due to heavy rains.  Please follow Griffis' Facebook as well for updates.

NIGHT LIGHTS at Griffis Sculpture Park is produced by SitlerHQ. The lighting and event company also produced the award-winning NIGHT LIGHTS at the Gardens (Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens), NIGHT LIGHTS at The Heron (Sherman, NY), and NIGHT LIGHTS at Nannen Arboretum (Ellicottville, NY). They created their first NIGHT LIGHTS show in 2009.

Over 250 sculptures reside at the 300 acre Griffis Sculpture Park, making it the United States largest sculpture park. The park is owned and operated by the Ashford Hollow Foundation, which also owns the Essex Arts Center in Buffalo, NY. The mission of the Ashford Hollow Foundation is to promote the visual and performing arts as well as construct a dynamic relationship between the arts and education in Western New York to better its young people and the greater community.
