We will be selecting 3 photographers/videographers to capture great experiences and destinations in the Enchanted Mountains.

Submissions due for Fall / Early Winter projects by Sept. 29, 2017.

We're no longer accepting applications for Fall 2017 / Winter. We'll be posting again for Spring / Summer 2018. Email us info [at] Enchanted

We're looking for photos and videos of the following:

Mountain Biking

Snowshoeing / XC Skiing

Camping / Cabin


The New Olean

Holiday Events

Fall Fishing

Fall Foliage / Landscape

Winter Landscape

Breweries and Distilleries


Projects will be completed by date in 2017 determined by Tourism.


Locations: at least 3

~50 photos at each location

Image Requirements: 300 DPI preferred, at least 18 Megapixels.

We will work with you on choosing from a list of events, activites and locations.

No post-production required.


Locations: at least 2

Video requirements: Min. resolution of 1080P

Produce a video of 1-2minutes in length.

At the end of the project the videographer will submit raw video footage also.

For videos that include drone footage, you must provide the pilots FAA #.

Access to Models

Preference will be given to those who can provide their own models.

Model Releases are required. We will provide model release forms.


Any accidents, emergencies that occur while shooting will be the responsibilities of the photographer covered by their insurance and not the responsibility of Cattaraugus County.

Meaning of the word Cattaraugus

CATTARAUGUS, from a Seneca Indian word meaning “bad smelling banks,” referring to the odor of natural gas leaking from rock seams.

The word "Cattaraugus" means "foul-smelling river bank." This name is a result of the natural gas that oozes from the river mud.

In our opinion, only some of the river banks are bad smelling. Come on over and visit a creek in Cattaraugus County and tell us what you think.
