What does it mean when a location/place is inactive?

When a location is deemed as 'inactive', the location may be inaccessible to the public.

Example A

A place of business may be inactive as we were informed that the business is closed until further notice.

Example B

A location may have had an access road washed away or it is under construction or deemed as dangerous to the public.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project - at Griffis Sculpture Park

Sculpture at Griffis Sculpture Park

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.

Get ready for a rocking good time at Allegany State Park on Quaker Beach on Friday, July 18 from 5pm - 9pm. 

  • 5-8:30pm: "Ask the Naturalist" and yard games, including Kickball (for all!) from 5-6pm!
