The Challenger Learning Center will be hosting Trivia Night on March 8th, 2025! Doors open at 6:00pm, Trivia starts at 6:30pm!

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.

Join the 2nd Annual Paws & Pumpkins 5K in Little Valley, NY benefiting Empire Animal Rescue Society (EARS)! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely walker, bring your family, friends, and furry companions for a morning of autumn fun. 

Event Details:

First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!

Head over to Camp Allegany on October 19th at 6:30 PM for a spectacular evening under the stars at Allegany State Park.

Enjoy a night filled with “out of this world” crafts, a chance to learn about the constellations, and the highlight of the evening – watching the meteor shower in the open sky!

The Silver Bells Parade will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024 starting at 6:00pm.

The Ellicottvilles Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided.

Carson Waterman, a distinguished artist and revered cultural figure for the Haudenosaunee people of the Seneca Nation, will discuss his life and artwork in a special presentation at St. Bonaventure University on Wednesday, April 2nd at 5:00pm in the Rigas Theater of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.

Sunday-

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Watch the Santa Claus Lane Parade before or after touring this beautifully restored mansion built in 1881 with 15 rooms, including a third-floor ballroom.

The historic house will be adorned with Christmas decorations during its annual open house on Friday from 6-9pm. There will be refreshments and raffle baskets, proceeds to benefit the Bartlett House. 

The Cabana Bar is the place to hang out this summer, especially on Friday Nights for the Cabana Bar Music Series. With amazing views, vibes, and libations, this covered outdoor bar is a great place to hang out when you're in Ellicottville for the weekend.
