Join the Olean Community Theatre as they present Andrew Lloyd Weber's 'School of Rock', the Musical. Follow Dewy Finn, an out of work Rock singer and guitarist as he pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school, preparing a band of fifth graders to win an upcoming battle of the bands contest! Sure to be a rocking good show! Directed by Kelly Vaccaro with a special arrangement by Concord Theatrics.

Join Merry Ryding on October 26th from 11am-2pm for an Encaustic workshop at the Tri-County Arts Council in Olean.

Explore the art of Encaustic, a hot wax medium perfect for transforming paper scraps and other lightweight materials into beautiful creations. Participants can bring small copies of photos, poems, or quotes printed on lightweight paper, though various papers will be provided.

Rusty Rooster Farm & Vintage LLC , in Portville is hosting their 6th Annual Harvest Fall Fest on Saturday, October 4th from 10am - 4:00pm. 

The event features FREE outdoor activities like apple cider pressing, fall craft station, doughnuts and funnel cakes, door prizes, a candy count, photo stops, and Live music.

Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year! 

Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind. 

Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present. 

First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!

The Jingle Bell Jubilee is a holiday event featuring many activities and events: the holiday market, carolers, dance groups, wreath creation class, Shop Raffle Drawing, Sips of the Season, make and take craft, horse and wagon rides; an inflated snow globe for picture opps, cocoa and cookie crawl, decorate the tree contest, cookie decorating, and even a Rudolph run! Hours for the event are 4:30-8pm.
