Jump on the SCARIEST HAYRIDE in Western New York. Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings only.  Nightmare Hayride is a twenty five minute tractor drawn hayride that will lead you down a creepy haunted path with live scary creatures. You may end up sitting in the person's lap next to you.  But that's not all!  You will then have to make your way through the Gothic Chamber, Haunted Wooden Maze, and through the Haunted Barn with the Vortex Tunnel.

Celebrate opening night of the Allegany Santa House with Santa's arrival by the Allegany Fire Department. This is a free event to come see Santa, and enjoy a beautiful decorated Santa House with Elf Shack containing basket raffles to help support this community event.

Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. Earth Day is all about environmental stewardship, and this activity is a meaningful way to reduce waste and support local wildlife.

Get in the holiday spirit and unleash your creativity as you decorate delicious cookies with a variety of colorful frostings, sprinkles, and edible decorations. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, this hands-on workshop is perfect for all ages and skill levels.

During the workshop, you'll learn tips and tricks from Cupcaked Bakery, who will guide you through different techniques to create beautiful and unique designs. It's a great opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones, make new friends, and take home some scrumptious treats to share.

Saturday November 25th starts the first of many days Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting our house.

Santa will be escorted by the Allegany Police and Fire Department to our house, where he will greet all visitors. Basket raffles will be avaliable for people to buy tickets to help support our community event.

Through the generosity of the community businesses and organizations listed below, the City of Olean Youth Bureau & Recreation Department is offering free admission for public ice skating. There is a $4.00 skate rental fee.

Gowanda is a a beautifully quaint community nestled among the hills surrounding Cattaraugus Creek and is coming together for a Christmas Celebration. Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family.
