Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. The Ellicottvilles Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided.

As Christmas approaches, join Jessica Borchert on December 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for a magical painting session. Learn to create a beautiful Christmas tree, making a heartfelt gift perfect for your loved ones.

The Challenger Learning Center in Allegany is hosting a magical event where kids, and parents, can dress up as their favorite wizards and participate in over 30 STEAM activities on October 26th, from 5:30-7:30pm. 

Cost: $5 per person 

*If you register by October 22nd, your child will receive a special letter from Hogwarts via email that you can print out!

The Tri-County Arts Council is hosting a Butternut Squash Turkey Carving workshop with the renowned artist and TV personality, Eric Jones! Join Eric on November 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and learn the intricacies of carving from a master. Ages 12 and up are welcome.

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic. Randolph’s Country Christmas is an annual event that takes place during the first full weekend of December. Starting off the day is Randolph Holiday Arts & Crafts Show.

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean. The twinkling lights and decorations need extra display time which means the Barlett House is open for extended hours.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.
