Come out to Allegany State Park on October 5th at 9:30am to experience "Autumn in Allegany"! 

This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques and create their own masterpieces under the guidance of naturalists. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity!

Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. Earth Day is all about environmental stewardship, and this activity is a meaningful way to reduce waste and support local wildlife.

Join the Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce for the 2026 Ducky Derby at Creekside Park in Gowanda!

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun, food, games, prizes, and community spirit as hundreds of rubber ducks race down Cattaraugus Creek for a chance to win cash prizes!

Inside the shop, there will be in-store specials, honey samples, Ellen's pop up boutique, and a full chocolate shop with grab-and-go specials.

Quick Center for the Arts for an exciting community event on Saturday April 26, from 11am - 3pm; featuring a day of music, dance, art activities, and community engagement that is free and open to all ages. This is the fifth and final night of Christmas In Allegany at the Allegany Santa House. This is a free event to come visit Santa in his beautifully decorated Santa House with Elf Shack behind selling basket raffle tickets to help support this yearly tradition. Raffle tickets will be drawn after the event.

Join Foster Cattaraugus for an enchanting evening at the 2nd Annual Adult Prom hosted at Woodside Tavern on the Range on Saturday, August 9th at 6:00pm, benefiting foster care in Cattaraugus County. Don a mask and formal attire for a night of mystery and magic.
