New Gear’s Eve Bike Ride begins at Camp Allegany on December 31 2024 at 6:00 p.m., with the ride starting at 6:30 p.m. Grab your bike and some friends to join Allegany staff and other fat bike enthusiasts for the last ride of the year. Bring lights, wear warm and reflective gear and a helmet. Participants may be split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. There will be a social to follow the ride in the Rec Hall at Camp Allegany. Bring your own snacks.

Learn how to finger knit your very own ultra-soft chunky yarn blanket—no needles or experience required! In this hands-on class, you’ll work with six skeins of plush chenille yarn to create a beautiful 35” x 60” blanket that will be perfect during the colder months.

They’ll guide you step-by-step through the finger knitting process, teach you how to care for your finished piece, and help you relax and enjoy the meditative rhythm of working with your hands.

Get ready for a cozy Fall Craft Show at the Little Valley Fire Hall on November 15th, 2025, from 11am to 4pm! Enjoy delicious food, shop local, and support talented artisans.

Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 am on January 1, 2024. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Fat tire bikes are suggested, given the range of conditions likely to be present, however, use your best judgement for the conditions of the day.

The Challenger Learning Center in Allegany is hosting a magical event where kids, and parents, can dress up as their favorite wizards and participate in over 30 STEAM activities on October 26th, from 5:30-7:30pm. 

Cost: $5 per person

Join Nannen Arboretum members to create a fresh evergreen wreath at the Ellicottville Town Center at 28 Parkside Drive, Ellicottville, N.Y. at 6:30 pm on either Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 or Thursday, December 5th 2024.

Join Nicole Fair for a basket-weaving class on May 31st, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 pm! Create your own Small Williamsburg Basket in a variety of colors.

During this class you will learn Williamsburg Handle weaving, add decorative touches with twining and cross-back lashing, and choose from various colors for your 5”x5”x8” basket
