The Portville Historical and Preservation Society is an educational agency, chartered by the Regents of the State of New York. It was established in 1986 in response to renewed interest in the preservation of Portville's past.
The Haunted Hinsdale House presents this exclusive Overnight Ghost Hunt at 8pm and it will run until 9am the next day. Your all inclusive experience will include a tour of the grounds and inside the historic building. You will get history and stories from your guide, as well as use of some ghost hunting equipment to see if we can connect with the other side. If you have your own ghost hunting equipment they highly recommend that you bring it.

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic. Most of the trails are used throughout the entire year such as the groomed snowmobile trails that double as horseback riding trails in the summer.
