In 2011, an article written by Christine A. Smyczynski for the Member Connection, the magazine for AAA Members, two of the treasures of the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County have been named in the top 10 Hidden Gems in Western New York by AAA.
Michael was named Entertainer of the Year in Campus Activities Magazine and Magician of the Year by The Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA). Cleveland.com has listed Michael as one of Ohio's top 30 "Famously Funny" comedians along with Drew Carey, Dave Chappelle and Bob Hope. He was featured on the season premiere of the hit television show "Penn & Teller: Fool Us!"
Celebrate the season with a country superstar! Having five number 1 singles to her name, including “Suds In A Bucket” and “Born To Fly,” this Country Music Award winning artist has recently been invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Chautauqua County, the Enchanted Mountains (Cattaraugus County) and the Western NY Wilds (Allegany County) comprise the Chautauqua-Allegheny Tourism Region, which is located in South Western New York State.
Allegany County is known for where nature and art meet, the Wellsville Balloon Rally, the Genesee River, ATV parks and the Bare Knuckle Boxing Museum.

HoliMont Contractor’s Day is an event filled with many fun activities that take place on and off the slopes. This year’s activities include the 36th annual Dave Pitkin Memorial Ski Race, dedicated to him to commemorate his enduring spirit, his contributions to the HoliMont Racing Club, and his part in creating the racing hill, Our infamous Bombardier Ball Drop, Lunch provided by Dina’s at the Mont, A vendor market, and an Apres Ski Party. This event is sponsored by many local businesses and helps us celebrate and support our local community. Join us for our favorite day of the year!
