Scoby Dam is most commonly known because of its trail and of course the dam but it is also has a lot of geological elements that have built the area.
Freedom
The town of Freedom, NY is full of farms and woodland. The hamlet of Sandusky is in the Town of Freedom. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 40.6 square miles, of which, 40.3 square miles of it is land and 0.3 square miles of it (0.64%) is water.

Conewango
The Town of Conewango is located on the western boundary of the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County. The west town line is the border of Chautauqua County.
Step Right Up at the Cattaraugus County Fair
Cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, the first week in August.

Empire State Development (ESD) today announced the completion of an $800,000 expansion and enhancement project at Triple R Camping Resort in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County.
