The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun. 

Get ready to laugh until your sides hurt! The Double Chuckle Comedy Tour, starring the hilarious Patrick Madison and featuring the witty Daniel McGinnis, is coming to Wildwood Bar and Grill on Saturday, March 8th at 8:00 PM. Join in for a night of non-stop entertainment with some of the best comedians around. Admission is only $5.00, so grab your friends and come enjoy an unforgettable evening of comedy!

One of the best ways to describe the downtown of Ellicottville has been as something Norman Rockwell would have conjured up. Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean. The twinkling lights and decorations need extra display time which means the Barlett House is open for extended hours.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

The Enchanted Mountains Horse Series features an exciting game show on Friday nights, and performance classes on both Saturday and Sunday.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of treats from the food concession stand and explore offerings from various clothing and tack vendors. Additionally, each weekend typically includes at least one charitable fundraiser to support a worthy cause or individual in need.

Spectators are always welcome!

Take Your Photography to the Next Level with help from instructor, Dan Jordan on July 12th, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 pm for a beginner's photography class. Learn the fundamentals of photography and discover how to capture stunning images that go beyond simple snapshots with tips like camera settings and how to use them effectively, composition techniques for visually appealing photos, and lighting, focus, and exposure control.
