Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean. The twinkling lights and decorations need extra display time which means the Barlett House is open for extended hours.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Join Swan Street Florist at Ellicottville Brewing Co, 28 Monroe St. Ellicottville on Thursday, December 19th, for a festive Christmas Centerpiece Workshop! Come join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they officially light the town's holiday decorations! This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.

Get into the festive spirit and learn how to create beautiful holiday centerpieces that will impress your guests. An expert instructor Amy, from Swan Street Florist, will guide you through the process, sharing tips and tricks along the way.

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

Music in the Park Returns July 25th, 2024 featuring Kokomo Time Band

The Olean Theatre Workshop presents, "Every Christmas Story Every Told (And then Some!)" by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez. 

While three actors are tired of performing "A Christmas Story", they decide to take a wild and comedic spin on every beloved holiday tale ever told! This quick paced take through traditions, pop culture, and classic Christmas characters deliver laughter and a needed dose of holiday spirit!

Browse the vendors along with a concession stand and bake sale.

Get Ready for a Fun Ride!  Join Allegany State Park for a Bike Rodeo on July 17th at the Red House Picnic Shelter from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.! 

Bring your little cyclists for an afternoon of fun and skill-building at our specially designed bike course. Our Bike Rodeo is the perfect place for kids to test their bike handling skills, build confidence, and have a blast!

The guided walk will help you identify and learn about the various mushrooms you'll find in the forest.
