Several Holiday Valley's women instructors lead the groups through free skiing, drills, non-intimidating race training, and video analysis.

Women's ski demos are included.

Cummins Cider Mill, located in Portville, will be opening for the season on Wednesday, September 4th from 9am-7:30pm.

Come out to Pumpkinville on either September 20th or October 4th for an exclusive Pumpkin Carving class with the one and only, Eric Jones! 

Eric Jones is an Olean, NY native and celebrated sculptor and caricature artist! He has been featured on The Food Network's Halloween Wars, holds the 2023 Guinness World Record for carving the larges jack-o-lantern, and won Season 3 of The Food Network's Outrageous Pumpkins! 

Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. Earth Day is all about environmental stewardship, and this activity is a meaningful way to reduce waste and support local wildlife.

Free admission to the public!

There will be a basket raffle, 50/50, face painting, custom leather patches/hats, petting zoo and pony rides, and freeze dried candy!

Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY.  The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation.  Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. Join the Regina A Quick Center staff as they conclude their yearlong celebration with a special evening honoring the center's founders and supporters. The gala will feature a performance by Olean-born, Grammy-nominated artist Calabria Foti, pianist and SBU professor Laura Peterson, Jazz musicians and more.

The Cattaraugus County Pride Coalition announces it's 6th Pride event at Pride in the Park! 

This is a fun event for all with music, entertainment, vendors, food, educational, LGBTQ+ owned businesses, artists and allies, and so much more. This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome to attend. 

The event will be held at War Vets Park in Olean on Saturday, June 29th from 12pm until 4pm. 

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean. The twinkling lights and decorations need extra display time which means the Barlett House is open for extended hours.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.
