Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year! 

Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind. 

Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present.

Fall into Fun: Paws & Pumpkins 5K 

Join the 2nd Annual Paws & Pumpkins 5K in Little Valley, NY benefiting Empire Animal Rescue Society (EARS)! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely walker, bring your family, friends, and furry companions for a morning of autumn fun. 

Event Details:

Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. The Ellicottville  A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 36 years.

An opening reception will be held this Saturday for the current Tri-County Arts Council member show, "A Little Something", perfectly sized for holiday gift giving.  This opening will be featuring over 130 pieces featuring painting, pottery, jewelry and more from over 40 artists across the region including Wendy Bale, Rose Brawn, Lisa Conklin Conn, Karen Fitzpatrick, Barbara Fox, Theresa Heinz, Sean Huntington, Keith McKale, Peter Midgley, Nicole Missel, Eva Potter, Carolyn Raine, Melissa Stitzer, Tara Walker, Mikel Wintermantel, Jennifer Wolbert, and more.

First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Enjoy all the well-known hits along with Christmas favorites like “Run Rudolph Run” as Sara Evans brings the spirit of the holidays to the Seneca Allegany Event center for one magical night!

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.

Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 am on January 1, 2024. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants.
