The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!

Join in for a summer-long celebration of community and sound. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Music in the Park series offers the perfect midweek escape with live performances from a rotating lineup of talented artists. 

Music in the Park is held each Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. at the Park Street Gazebo on Park Ave, South Dayton. The music plays regardless of the forecast.

First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. HoliMont Contractor’s Day is an event filled with many fun activities that take place on and off the slopes.  This year’s activities include the 36th annual Dave Pitkin Memorial Ski Race, dedicated to him to commemorate his enduring spirit, his contributions to the HoliMont Racing Club, and his part in creating the racing hill, Our infamous Bombardier Ball Drop, Lunch provided by Dina’s at the Mont, A vendor market, and an Apres Ski Party. This event is sponsored by many local businesses and helps us celebrate and support our local community. Join us for our favorite day of the year!
