Step Right Up at the Cattaraugus County Fair

Cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, the first week in August.

All Aboard

Take a train ride along the countryside of the Enchanted Mountains. The New York and Lake Erie Railroad offers featured rides throughout the year.. All of the train rides are round trips that depart from the Gowanda Depot. 

Hop aboard with the Easter Bunny, tell Santa your wish list, solve a murder mystery, enjoy the fall foliage, and so many other rides to choose from!

Allegheny Valley Project (AVP) is back at Canticle Farm to continue its annual research into the history of the Allegheny River Valley.

Hike in the Night

Sculptures at Night Lights at Griffis Sculpture Park

Venture on an unguided walk through the trails at Griffis Sculpture Park as they are illuminated with colorful and theatrical lighting, creating a truly unique experience. 

Their "Night Lights" event takes place in September and October with performance artists, video projections, and vendors.
