From the easy cross country ski (XC-Ski) trails around the golf course to the slightly-more difficult trails near the top of the mountain, there are various combinations of XC-ski trails at Holiday Valley Resort.

Cattaraugus Creek offers over 34 miles of steelhead angling opportunities from Lake Erie to the Springville Dam. A portion of the stream and its lower tributaries are on Seneca Nation of Indian Lands, so if you plan to fish there, you will need a license for the Reservation.

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 17-18, June 29-30, September 28, and November 11th.
