Join Sarah Swinko on Friday, August 14th at 6pm for an educational Foraging Walk at the beautiful Pfeiffer Nature Center. This easy walk is open to all skill levels, from experienced nature enthusiasts to anyone wanting to learn more about local wild edible plants.  

$5 Donation appreciated but not necessary to attend. 

Through the generosity of the community businesses and organizations listed below, the City of Olean Youth Bureau & Recreation Department is offering free admission for public ice skating. There is a $4.00 skate rental fee.

The Cattaraugus County Living Arts Association is announce their  2025 summer production, the high-energy, crowd-pleasing jukebox musical "Pump Boys and Dinettes"—a toe-tapping celebration of life, love, and laughter on Highway 57!

This production Will Take place on August 8th at 7:30pm, August 9th at 7:30pm, and August 10th at 2pm

A brief synopsis:

Immerse yourself in the holiday magic at Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theatre on December 7th, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with a spectacular performance by The Springville Jazz Orchestra.

Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater presents Mike Randall as Mark Twain on Sunday, September 29th from 2-4pm. 

 Mike is a veteran Twain impersonator; he brings to life a side of Twain's personality that is often neglected!

Enjoy a unique and fast-paced take on the Bard with "Shakespeare Abridged"! This comedic performace is brought to the state by the Kenan Center Troupe. The Kenan Center is one of the premier facilities in the Buffalo Niagara region for arts, education and recreation programming.

Showtime is Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 7:30pm and Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens and SBU staff & faculty, and $5 for students. 

The Cattaraugus County Pride Coalition announces it's 6th Pride event at Pride in the Park! 

This is a fun event for all with music, entertainment, vendors, food, educational, LGBTQ+ owned businesses, artists and allies, and so much more. This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome to attend. 

The event will be held at War Vets Park in Olean on Saturday, June 29th from 12pm until 4pm. 

Limestone Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Car Show on July 12th from 9am until 4pm in front of and inside the Limestone Firemen's Club. There will also be a Chinese auction and serve food at the community center.
