The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. Explore the forest of Pfeiffer Nature Center with a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Forester on Thursday, June 12th from 10am until 12pm. 

A NYS DEC Forester will lead the way as you explore the woods, learning how to identify common trees, shrubs, and invasive plants found in Western New York. You'll hear how foresters balance tree harvesting with the needs of wildlife, recreation, and long-term forest health. This guided trail walk is perfect for curious minds of all ages! 

The Limestone Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Stand-Up Comedy Show featuring Robb Will, Jamestown's 67th Funniest Comedian, with special guest Rick Mathews, winner of Buffalo's Laugh Off Competition. 

The show starts at 7:30pm on Saturday, February 14th, 2026. 

Tickets are $25 dollars for non-members and $15 for members.
