The Enchanted Mountains offer a snow-covered playground filled with adventure, cozy charm, and unforgettable experiences!
Naturally Yours to Enjoy! The Enchanted Mountains is our brand for Cattaraugus County, in South-Western New York. Due to the abundance of places to enjoy outdoor activities and our small communities, we feel that no matter where you are from you will find a spot to love in the Enchanted Mountains. For the development of the Enchanted Mountains Brand, we talk about the sensory things, like visual identity - the EM logo, use of colors and the way we write in various ways. We want the Enchanted Mountains to be a trusted source for traveling in Western New York State. This is the dynamic foundation of the Enchanted Mountains brand.
Most residents follow the "work hard, play hard" ethos and find a place to relax.
The beauty and natural assets of Cattaraugus County serve as the foundation of the Enchanted Mountains promotional efforts. You combine that with all the high quality tourism-related "infrastructure" and you have a great place to live, learn, work and play
Grounded Authenticity: Embracing natural, raw beauty without artificial filters or over-commercialization
Mystical Wonder: Cultivating a sense of magic, exploration, and awe in everyday outdoor experiences
This is due to the stories from native american culture, the history of immigrants, geography and trails developed by residents.
Balanced Vitality: Honoring the local "work hard, play hard, rest deeply" ethos
Inclusive Stewardship: Protecting the land while ensuring it feels welcoming and accessible to all visitors.
Pristine Playground - Focus: Allegany State Park, dense forests, waterways, and changing seasons.
Enchanted Small Towns: Local artisan communities, indigenous heritage with the Seneca Nation of Indians, historic villages and local hospitality.
Recharging Sanctuary - Focus: Disconnecting from digital noise, peaceful retreats, and mental clarity; Promoting BnBs, cabins, trails, stargazing spots, and slow-paced weekend getaways
The undeniable, foundational reality of our region is that it makes the brand promise credible.
Unspoiled Playground: The Enchanted Mountains, Cattaraugus County, is an authentic, rugged, and vast landscape of state parks, historic trails, and waterways that remains pristine and uncrowded, offering a genuine escape from dense urban life.
