The Largest New York State Park is Allegany State Park which is the 3rd largest in the United States of America with 65,000 acres (97 square miles) and many miles of trails. This is a fun event for all with music, entertainment, vendors, food, educational, LGBTQ+ owned businesses, artists and allies, and so much more. This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome to attend. 

The event will be held at War Vets Park in Olean on Saturday, June 29th from 12pm until 4pm.

HoliMont Contractor’s Day is an event filled with many fun activities that take place on and off the slopes.  This year’s activities include the 36th annual Dave Pitkin Memorial Ski Race, dedicated to him to commemorate his enduring spirit, his contributions to the HoliMont Racing Club, and his part in creating the racing hill, Our infamous Bombardier Ball Drop, Lunch provided by Dina’s at the Mont, A vendor market, and an Apres Ski Party. This event is sponsored by many local businesses and helps us celebrate and support our local community. Join us for our favorite day of the year!

Final Night of Christmas in Allegany

This is the fifth and final night of Christmas In Allegany at the Allegany Santa House. This is a free event to come visit Santa in his beautifully decorated Santa House with Elf Shack behind selling basket raffle tickets to help support this yearly tradition. Raffle tickets will be drawn after the event.

Free Fishing Day in NY!

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!
