There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. First NASCAR Points Champion from Northeast USA

The very first NASCAR points champion from the Northeast part of the USA, Bill Rexford, began his career at the Pennyroyal Race Track in Leon, NY.

Bill is NASCAR's youngest Cup Champion and the 1950 NASCAR points champion, which was the second year of the NASCAR Cup Series Championship.
