Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. Earth Day is all about environmental stewardship, and this activity is a meaningful way to reduce waste and support local wildlife.

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

Mr. Brightside: The Ultimate Killers Experience is the premier tribute band from Niagara Falls, NY, delivering electrifying performances of The Killers’ greatest hits. Get ready for a spine-tingling celebration!  Join Wildwood's 8th birthday bash on Saturday, June 28th from 6pm-11:55pm. There will be cake (at 6pm), spooky stories, and a chance to dive into the unknown with Kristie London's gallery reading (at 7:00pm). Then, grab your flashlight and join the investigation!  Proceeds will help the Wildwood Crew raise the roof (literally!) on their garage to fix some needed repairs and will eventually give guests a whole new area to explore.

This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.

Portville Central School’s Arts, Crafts, & Antiques Show returns as a one day, indoor event. It will be held at the Portville High School and will feature art, crafts, antiques and food on Saturday, November 8th from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Proceeds collected directly benefit the students at Portville Central School in the form of achievement awards and student scholarships.

Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on August 16th for their "Pie on the Porch" event! They will have 10 pie themed raffle baskets included a Cutco pie server in each basket!

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Fasten your sleigh-belts for Gowanda Community Theater's season finale - The Little Town of Christmas! This series of short plays is filled with festive entertainment as part of Christmas in Gowanda 2025!

Discover the fascinating world of frogs and toads in this hands-on learning experience. This is open to all ages! The event will take place at the Lillibridge property of Pfeiffer Nature Center at 12pm on Sunday, July 27th.

Spring is here and so is the annual spring craft and vendor show! There will be over 35 different vendors to shop from and a chinese auction available. The Lunch Bus, a local favorite food truck will also be at the event! 

The Beaver Moon will be the feature of this evening walk that leaves from the Red House Administration Building at 6:00 p.m. This full moon is also the biggest and closest supermoon of the year, orbiting closer to Earth than any other full moon in 2025.

Santa Claus will be back in the Town of Olean at his cottage in Lincoln Park on December 13th from 5:30-8:30 pm.

Kids can leave letters for Santa in a mailbox outside his cottage created by families of the EvenStart program. Kids will also receive a small treat from Mrs. Claus!
