January is a great time to get things done. In 2015, National Just Do It Day was created to encourage people to take action and finally do the things they have always wanted to do. It’s a day to work on goals, dreams and procrastinated projects. Olean's Santa Claus Lane Parade 2023
Come join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they officially light the town's holiday decorations! This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.

Autumn in Allegany
Come out to Allegany State Park on October 5th at 9:30am to experience "Autumn in Allegany"!
This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Join ASP to mountain bike with a park educator! Advanced and beginner riders are welcome and can meet certified mountain biking instructors at Summit Warming Hut. Helmets are required to participate. If you need to borrow a bike please text 716-265-8366 to reserve.

First Day Bike Ride at Allegany State Park 2025
First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Fat tire bikes are suggested, given the range of conditions likely to be present, however, use your best judgement for the conditions of the day. Questions: Contact Kristian Reiber at 716-785-2685.

Visit Santa's Cottage in 2023
Santa Claus will be back in the Town of Olean at his cottage in Lincoln Park on December 13th from 5:30-8:30 pm.
Kids can leave letters for Santa in a mailbox outside his cottage created by families of the EvenStart program. Kids will also receive a small treat from Mrs. Claus!

Pride in the Park
The Cattaraugus County Pride Coalition announces it's 6th Pride event at Pride in the Park!
This is a fun event for all with music, entertainment, vendors, food, educational, LGBTQ+ owned businesses, artists and allies, and so much more. This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome to attend.
