Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic. Join Bernadette Scott, a proud Haudenosaunee (Seneca) woman and member of the Deer Clan, for an afternoon of traditional Seneca art and culture. Learn about the art and history behind traditional crafts like cornhusk dolls, flowers, baskets, and Haudenosaunee social dancing and even try your hand at making your own corn husk doll!

Join ASP at the Beehunter Picnic Pavilion to capture the beautiful colors of fall with a water coloring painting class. No experience is necessary. Enjoy a full moon walk and learn about the changing of the moon phases.

Discover the history of Allegany State Park- January 1, 2026. This year’s First Day Hike is an easy trek featuring historical and environmental tidbits of information about the features found in this area of the park. Your hike will take you along the Quaker Multiuse trail that conveniently has an entrance at Camp Turner.

At 11:30 a.m. join park educators for a guided hike at Science Lake and learn the history and interesting historical figures of the park. The Historical Society will have the Quaker Museum open from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The time has finally come, put away those flip-flops and pull out your flannels and sweaters! 

Cummins Cider Mill, located in Portville, will be opening for the season on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Stop by and enjoy the fresh aroma of apples and spices as you enjoy some refreshing cider and maybe a doughnut or two while surrounding yourself with the cozy Autumn atmosphere.
