Well, it is already Autumn in 2010 and we love the falling leaves. We've created the following routes to take you through different areas of Cattaraugus County.

This post is long-winded as it gives you some options for your trip into Cattaraugus County.

Allegany State Park

With over 65,000 acres, this is the largest state park in New York State and is open year 'round with a multitude of outdoor activities for every season and every taste.

Wild Wing Festival

On August 25th The Wild Wing Festival will be held with music by the Rustic Ramblers and food from 12-4 pm. There will be guided tours of all the birds in the 6-acre aviary. You will have a guided tour of the birds and learn about the 78 different species. 

Cost is $10/ adults per person and $5 for children under 12. Food will be served by Lil's Deli including Pizza, Chicken fingers, Fries, Cookies, etc.

 Dining tents will be available in case of rain. Please bring your lawn chairs.
