Barker Museum's Archivist, Catherine Oag-Miller will lead the presentation. She has extensive knowledge of people and happenings of the local areas and is known for giving an engaging presentation. For those of you who may have Holland Land Co. on your Deed, bring a notebook and enjoy hearing Ms. Oag-Miller at the 1836 Church in Leon, NY. Light refreshments will be served.

Free Fishing Day in NY!

There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!
