Visit the Salamanca Rail Museum on Saturday, November 16th from 10am - 4pm for the Model Train Exhibit. There will be basket raffles, railroad hat crafts, popcorn and hotdogs. Be sure to visit the museum gift shop and check out their coloring books and calendars.

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic. You could go skiing or snowboarding at HoliMont' 56 slopes and trails with 100% snow making and fantastic grooming. While there are slopes for all abilities the ‘Mont is most known for it’s steep drops and epic views of Ellicottville, NY.
The Art Roscoe Trail System at Allegany State Park is known as the best cross-country ski trails in Western NY and Northeastern PA.
There's approximately 24 miles of trails that are groomed on an as-needed basis. All trails begin at the Summit Warming Hut in Allegany State Park.
From the easy cross country ski (XC-Ski) trails around the golf course to the slightly-more difficult trails near the top of the mountain, there are various combinations of XC-ski trails at Holiday Valley Resort.
Hike along one of the 18 trails at Allegany State Park. 3 trails are self-guided nature trails and if you want an easy stroll, there's 3.1 miles of paved trail around Red House Lake.
Every January, Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, NY, hosts a special event known as Canadian Friendship Week, celebrating the strong bond between the United States and Canada.
