The 154th New York's first battle occurred on May 2, 1863, in a clearing west of a crossroads called Chancellorsville, in a largely forested region known as the wilderness.
Wildwood Sanitarium Presents this exclusive Ghost Hunt on May 6th 2022 @ 7pm, and it will run until around 11pm.
Take a fun filled 2 hour round trip, that departs at 5:00pm from our Gowanda Depot and travels through the fall leaves, meadows and valleys to South Dayton.
Enjoy a special roundtrip train excursion to South Dayton and back to see the fall foliage colors! The excursion also includes a 45-minute layover in South Dayton to let you explore the area before turning around and heading back to Gowanda, NY.

Our annual train ride features a costume contest, candy counting contest, prizes & more! We can’t wait for everyone to join the fun in their spooky and creative costumes this Halloween!
1 hour round trip from Gowanda, NY to Dayton, NY and return. Santa, and Mrs. Claus are coming all the way from the North Pole to ride with us. Join us on a fun and festive Christmas train ride where the kids get to meet Santa! He might even have gifts for all the boys and girls!

Miner’s Cabin in Franklinville was built by a miner that returned home after making it good during the gold rush era of the west coast. The building is not a cabin either but a three story house of Queen Anne design.
